Well... I guess I haven't been updating my blog lately. Excuse? I guess I got a little busy or maybe work and school got in the way. But really, its just because I haven't logged on in awhile. I HAVE been watching GH every day. It's an obsession. I can't help it. So here are a few thoughts and hopefully I can get back on track with at least a weekly blog.
I have never been a fan of Sam, but with a little revisionist history, she has become even more detestable than ever.
THANK GOD the powers that be recognize the genious of Bradford Anderson and signed him to a contract.
Umm... what was up with the Emmy's? How is it statistically possible for a tie for best drama? And why was General Hospital virtually shut out? It just seemed a little odd, or maybe a little too sentimental considering the lifetime achievement awards, that CBS took so much. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they are great soaps but it just was a little too one-sided for my taste.
Why hasn't anyone bothered to mention to Patrick and especially Robin that Mr. Craig is actually Jerry Jacks? <amazed>
I think Amelia took baby Jake.
Anyone else wondering if GH is deliberately teasing us with Brenda in order to get us prepared for her return to town?
I actually adore the chemistry between Kate and Sonny. Sonny and Amelia just don't click.
Thats it for now. My mind is way too scattered.
wow... today was pretty pointless but i guess it was a dot i's cross t's kinda episode. looking forward to tomorrow.
highlight of course was lulu and the 3 stooges... funny how she dumped them for michael and morgan. it was hilarious when elizabeth stood up and the stooges all tried to take her chair.
i still wonder, is that nancy's really hair pretending to be a wig or an actual wig? regardless.... great job playing the friend to jax. i actually like alexis except when she's playing the holier-than-thou witch that she can be. but love the softer side.
i loved patrick trying to play up to emily and her turning the conversation around to "i know it all". whatever... this storyline is starting to bore me but still there is just something about it that makes me want to see it play out. ever see a really really really bad movie but still want to watch until the end to see how the story ends? yeah... that's how i feel right now.
i've been wondering when luke would remember that he and sonny are actually friends. amazing.. huh?
it was great to see a room full of bickering quartermaines especially ned.... i miss ned.
carly still bugs me... ummm... don't complain about getting what you want.... geez. sweet that max wrote her a letter, glad jason got back on time even though it means the wedding goes forward, and hilarious that morgan leaves broccoli in carly's broken shoes.
i almost... and i really mean almost... feel sorry for craig. he's such a jerk and now he's missing a beautiful (gagging here) moment in his families life.
gh - tue & wed april 24&25
first.. i have to mention that i really don't like amelia but the recast sucks... good thing its only temporary. one more person trying to convince sam not to be with jason... we all know how well that works out .
i just watched tuesday and wednesday back to back and have insomnia so i'm confused about the sequence of events... having a really bad week and lack to sleep because of poison ivy. even though i'm a deep sleeper i can't sleep thru pain from scratching.. go figure. anyway.... moving on...
lulu and the 3 stooges.. it would be funny if it weren't so tragic. i'm putting my vote in for spinelli... can't help it.. i love geeks. plus, i thinks its really cute the way he trys to step into jason's shoes... errrr jackets.
craig still intrigues me... but less so now that a major mystery about him has been revealed... now i guess we just have to it play out... god.... i really am delirious because i can't think of anything nasty to say besides what a jerk he is being towards his mother... don't care what he's doing to jax... but can't help but feel as though he deliberately set up the whole siberian adventure just to get jax out of town so he could reap havic.
nothing really needs to be said about sonny... i mean.. so what if he is setting up his own mole in the police force.... and if coop does actually turn out to be related to brenda... well..... bring it on... its about time brenda came back to town... although i want her with jax not carly.
ohhhhhh... ugggg... and carly... god what a whiner. seriously, jason does have a life and it does not revolve around carly. sometimes i think jason just puts up with carly because its easier than pushing her away.
emily sure is one smart cookie... put patrick and robin didn't exactly hide their kiss. i'm glad she went to confront nikolas. robin was pretty harsh though... but somehow i truly believe that made emily even more suspicious. emily knows robin too well to believe the crap coming out of her mouth. nikolas can't even look emily in the face while he lies.
hmmm.. the hospital scenes weren't all that interesting.. but just shows what a jackass dr ford is. logan at the metro court... boorrrrinnnggg. funny though when coop leaves sonny's office and there's maxie with a perplexed expression on her face. i have to mention that the 60s retro look on maxie is a little odd. she has a face that doesn't need to be overdone (i am actually a kirsten storms fan.... i know... bizarre but i loved her in disney's zenon). i guess ric and alcazar parading around the metro court was just so we don't forget they exist.
i'm not looking forward to the wedding... i just think its all wrong but who am i to say.
and the saga continues.... i really think amelia has a few screws loose... but not as many as lucky though... what is he thinking suggesting a mobster would make a good godfather (lol... mob+godfather... too funny) for his child? yeah... i know... its not his but he THINKS its his... so... ummm... yeah right. anyway elizabeth still makes me gag (but not as much as the stupid name groupings i've been reading on the blogs... umm... seriously folks... liason? carjax? and other countless inane names.... it was stupid when done to celebrities... remember bennifer? tomkat?.. its stupid here and in the real world)... well back to the commentary.
the shootout was interesting... but didn't make a lot of sense... i mean... amelia pretty much insinuated the similarities of bill monroe and the mobster... sam's not-so-guilty conscience seems to be getting to her... but hard to tell because as always she remains expressionless (unless she's crying and then you can't help but want to slap her). i love jason's immediate stonewall... he didn't do anything wrong yet he wants his lawyer... yeah.. ummm... strange gunmen going after current girlfriend... will make elizabeth comfortable being associated with him... hmmm.. right.. anyway moving on.
carly seriously has to stop crying every time she thinks about marrying jax and not being with sonny.... she made a choice... she needs to stick with it and get over any regrets.... stringing sonny along is not only unfair to him but also to jax... i'm hoping jax wises up to carly soon... but i doubt it will be before the wedding.
ummm... brava to robin for maintaining the tension and hostility with patrick at the hospital! what was patrick thinking trying to collaborate with robin the toxins? well.... at least they could make it private but little emily (she's just so sweet!) is now suspicious... i guess robin and patrick shouldn't kiss in the locker room where anyone can just walk in and see... huh... i guess they didn't realize there was corner they could go around. oh... and is it just me or has anyone else noticed that noah only shows up to give a lecture to patrick and/or robin? interesting that they are keeping the bid for chief behind the scenes but part of the storyline... gh is doing a good job keeping the story current but backburning it until they can really do something with it.
oh... and can't get away without mention... craig is jerry? hmm... the possibilities... and the wrench in the wheels moving carly and jax's relationship forward.... will they ever recover?... i guess we have to see that story play out although i have to admit i'm a little perplexed (but explains the casting call when ingo was contract negotiating and people were speculating a recast... dadadadum)... OH.. and check out the pics on julien stone the originater of jerry... very very good recasting! very similar bone structure so plastic surgery is realistic
i'm keeping this brief because... well... its been days since i watched friday's episode and quite frankly i remember little.
amelia and sam... i have to laugh... i'm not a great sam fan but i think amelia is starting to realize her little revenge plot is way over her head. i'm sure she never expected bullets to fly.
carly and jax.... ummm... yeah... welll.... i doubt that will last for long. i don't care if they are getting married next week. poor sonny.... finally realizes carly is the love of his life and she's already moved on. boohoo
patrick and robin... sweet... but if the spoilers on soapcentral are right then it won't last long. just glad he finally knows the truth.. i doubt he understands it... but at least he knows it now.
mr. craig... what can you say... just brilliant.
elizabeth... i just want to gag whenever she cries and says she's sorry for tearing out jason's heart.... yet again.
